Recruitment Concert

There is another chance to see the band live!  The band is looking for new members.  They will be playing at Cherokee Bend Elementary School on Monday, May 13th, to show off the possibilities for the elementary school students.

New York Results:

At the New York Heritage Festival, the symphonic band received all superior ratings and was awarded 2nd place in their classification.  Members of the Jazz ensemble received 3rd place in their classification.

Back in January, members of the Mountain Brook High School Band held a unique fund-raiser for their New York trip. "Feed the Need" helped the band earn money by packing meals for children in Haiti. In the day-long event, band members packed a total of 10,000 meals.

Mountain Brook High School was the only school representing Alabama.

All Superior Ratings!

The symphonic band performed in the Alabama Bandmasters Association Music Performance Assessment Festival, February 28th.  Great performance!

Superior Rating at VMI!

The band received a superior score and third place in their division.  The band also received an award for superior field commander.  

In addition you would all be proud of the way in which the band has conducted themselves.
